This is a book written by a scholar who knows how to talk to her readers and fascinate us with the most intriguing insights about the need for the existence of a Boaz and Ruth in Jewish history. I always wondered why it had to be these two people in particular that God destined to become the great grandparents of King David. Dr. Ziegler teaches us about a difficult period in history, that of the Judges, and makes us realize how much need there was for a " tikkun" ! Read it. You will see the Book of Ruth in a whole new light!
